Learning Center
Welcome to the Learning Center
Students and teachers will find in these pages a collection of learning and teaching resources to help guide their exploration of the Oxford African American Studies Center. Drawing on materials from several of the core references works included in the site, the Learning Center provides a good starting point for research at any level.
We will continue to expand the resources offered in this Learning Center. With the January 2010 update, we are launching a Lesson Plan program that will help teachers incorporate Oxford African American Studies Center into the classroom. The first plan in this growing collection focuses on the Harlem Renaissance and the writers who contributed to the cultural arts revolution centered in Harlem. We also invite you to send us your comments and suggestions by writing to the editor.
